This month we have been privileged to experience the ‘Green Desert’ travelling with the Overland Adventures by air with our pilot Lachlan of H&A Air. He introduced us to some of the most remote, awe inspiring outback of Lake Eyre, Birdsville , Arcaroola including parts of SA, QLD & NSW, along with the interesting locals of these areas. I have a wonderful trip. The desert was green from recent rains, Lake Eyre was full, and I saw Sturt Desert Peas and a Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby. The accommodation was excellent and I had some amazing meals. The pilots did a great job and the bus trip was fun.

We had a great time. The people were wonderful, food was great and accommodation very comfortable. Clark (our guide) was exceptional and given that we were unable to do the original itinerary due to roads into National Parks being closed, he organized a few alternatives which were wonderful experiences. We also managed to get into Mungo on our last day and were lucky enough to walk the Great Walls of China and see the Lunettes. Ann & Tony Hodge

The itinerary was rearranged due to the weather and still enabled all the highlights to be seen. The staff were all super helpful picked up and dropped off at the airport despite the odd timing. All guides were very informative. Exceeded expectations and 5 out of 5 stars.
